I'm a born artist, I airbrush, paint on canvas, do wall murals and love photography. I work full time as retail manager and buyer. I have a son age 17. I enjoy long walks, swimming when weather permits, and bike rides. We also go hiking, canoeing and camping in the summer. I work with horses when I have time and the weather is nice. I want to stay in shape and return to my favorite weight of 130 lbs. and enjoy life even more!

What to eat everyday? because my RDI says I need to eat 2400 CAL per day.
Take time to talk to your doctor about this, ask him/her what your calorie intake should be at your age. This is a great site for teaching you what foods are good for you and which are not. Best Wishes on your way to being healthy.

Why do you want to lose weight?
1. Health (high blood pressure)
2. Never lost the "baby weight" from my one and only son who is now 14 years old...I think it's about time for me to loose the extra 15 to 20 lbs.
3. I think I already feel stronger and healthier. This site has helped me realize what I'm eating and what not to eat so much of. We really are what we eat.

Really discouraged :(
I know how it feels. Especially at a church function where there are so many goodies to choose from. Maybe try to eat a healthy breakfast before going there, and just have coffee or tea there while chatting with friends.

I'm working on the temptation thing too. Hang in there!
