So, this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down…
Or, this is just my weight loss journey. Hi, my name is Ree. I’m a thinker, a dreamer, a lover, a daughter, a student, a care-taker, an avid Oprah watcher, a Chinese take out addict, the future wife of Detective Robert Goren, Weight Watchers enthusiast, resident “fat one” of the group, social alcoholic, only child, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian idolizer, size 12 Old Navy jeans is my holy grail-er, god fearing, can put anything together, over all interesting character, over weight, size 9 and a half in shoes wearing, 22 year old Black Neo-Socialist.
I have been overweight or obese the majority of my adult life. Most of my weight gain is attributed to emotional eating. There is no thyroid or medical problem here. I’m virtually perfectly healthy, physically. I’m just addicted to salty McDonald’s fries, and Hot Cheetos. I’ve finally decided to stop making excuses and just lose the weight. On March 21 I started my new life style, and I eventually want to weigh 160. I’m giving myself about a year to lose all of the weight.
