Bio Update:
48 year old woman with three children; 2 sons (14 & 17) and 1 daughter (7). Married to a wonderful man who works out on a regular basis. Initially begin this program in December of 2011; now starting again May 2016. Start weight is 127 and want to get down to 115. I was doing so well but then I started slowly but surely falling off; I stopped recording my food and exercise and for me that was the beginning of the end. I also stopped walking which I was doing about 4-5 times a week. Not sure why, I guess I got busy but I really enjoyed walking, it was my time and I was able to listen to books on my phone and music which helped my walk time go by fast. To make a long bio short, I recently realized that I want healthy to be my lifestyle choice and I'm ready to not start my diet but to once again begin living a healthy life and here goes!

My Progress
Today is Saturday,Oct. 13th and I'm sitting here on the computer with my 3 yr. old daughter hanging off of me. Surprisingly, the week went about how I thought it would go. I knew I would go good some days and not so good some days. I Managed to lose 2 lbs. this week and exercise a couple of days this week. My goal over the next 5 days is to exercise 3 of the next 5 days and to continue to eat healthy meals and snacks and drink plenty of water. Currently, I'm 4 lbs. away from my initial goal weight of 115. After I reach that goal, I hope to lose another 5 lbs. to get to my ultimate goal weight of 110 lbs. This site is really helping me to stay on target by keeping track of my diet and exercise. good luck to all of you out there!

tierd and,slow
It is easier to work out with a buddy. I'm working out by myself too. My husband works out at work (his employer has a gym on site). I work out after work. Even if we could work out together I don't think we would...he works out like a psycho and I walk/run about 3 miles a day 3-5 days a week. Big difference in our work out styles. Don't give up especially if you're losing!Very Happy

Any other shorties out there?
I'm a fellow shortie. I'm 5'1 and weigh 120 lbs. I also cannot carry alot of weight. When i tell people how much i weigh they look at me like i'm crazy but i know my body and that is too much weight for me. i should really be at about 106; my goal weight is 110. when i see photos of myself i'm completely horrified. prior to my mid 30's i could pretty much eat whatever i liked. it doesn't help that i have two boys (9 & 13) who can eat whatever they like. It's nice to see a fellow "shortie" out there.

Good but not so good day!
i woke up the morning feeling so good. I ate a healthy breakfast (egg white omelette with spinach, mushrooms & onions w/about a teaspoon of shredded cheese). After which, I cleaned the kitchen and went for a walk for about an hour. My husband, great cook he is, cooked a great meal. Normally, i would be pleased and i still am but i ate unhealthy for the first time in about 5 days. after i ate, i felt very heavy and sluggish. i'm not going to let this discourage me and will be back on the healthy wagon tomorrow.
