Goal Weight:125.0 lb
following: Counting Calories and Daily Exercise
performance: losing 2.3 lb a week

My name is Ashley and I'm currently 22 years old and 5' 4". I've been on fatsecret now for over two years, and I've managed to lose a little over 30 pounds since May of 2012. However, I've gained a little bit of it back, and am struggling with trying to reach that ultimate goal.

I was active during the summer of 2013, and am really looking forward to getting back into the routine while learning how to deal with a full time job. I've ran 3 5K's since August of 2013, with a best time of 31:36, so I'm really looking forward to getting under 30 minutes by the end of march.

My ultimate goal is to be between 120 and 125 lbs, so I'm still working on it. I've been watching my calories, and just trying to be more active. I must say I'm a little scared to start maintenance because I am a binge eater in a sense. If I'm around food, I just can't help but eat and eat and eat (It's really bad when I go to my parent's house).

The goal is to lose a net amount of 3 pounds:

Beginning Weight: 154.2 lbs
End of Janary: 146.8 lbs - 7.4 pounds lost this month
End of February: 144.2 - 2.6 pounds lost this month
End of March 142.0 - 2.2 pounds lost this month
End of April 145.2 - 3.2 pounds gained this month

New Mini Goals:
May 1, 2015: 142.2 lbs
Jun 1, 2015: 139.2 lbs
Jul 1, 2015: 136.2 lbs
Aug 1, 2015: 133.2 lbs
Sep 1, 2015: 130.2 lbs
Oct 1, 2015: 127.2 lbs
Nov 1, 2015: 124.2 lbs
Dec 1, 2015: 121.2 lbs

There on after, toning up my stomach and maintaining my weight. Let's do this!

Working out on a low carb diet
So I did try and go running the night after I posted this, and I was able to run 2 miles. The last time I ran was 9 weeks before that, so I'm feeling like I'm not as exhausted as I think I am. I just need to get in the groove still, and find foods I actually enjoy.

Thank you everyone for the advice!

Working out on a low carb diet
Thanks Donnmur! I haven't tried working out yet (I'm on my fourth week), but maybe I'm still in the adjustment period. I have a hard time making myself wake up in the morning because I'm so tired. I'm gonna start my running or zumba back up next week, I just don't want to feel like crap after working out!

Working out on a low carb diet
I'm more concerned about working out on lo carbs. I've heard from a lot of people that their workouts were terrible when they were cutting back on carbs. This is my 4th week of low carb, and it's been a little over 2 months since zumba and running.

I'm looking for suggestions on intensity, or maybe certain foods to eat before / after the workout so the low carb doesn't kill my energy.

Should you weigh yourself when you are going to the gym 3 times a week
I also suggest taking pictures every time you measure!! From the front, both sides, and the back. Put on a bathing suit, or a bra and underwear (just wear the exact same thing every time). Sometimes we don't notice how our body changes when we see it every day, but the pictures will put it into better perspective!
