Why would you eat nuts?
Ahhh..gotcha. ugh! I know it's hard!! Too bad you couldn't get those deals online! I have recently started ordering from vitacost and found some of their stuff cheaper than whole foods..I haven't checked out their nuts..but I can and see if it's any better.

Why would you eat nuts?
Hi kenni_z ..not sure where you live but many stores have their buy one get one free stuff (here in Florida it's Publix) well Publix is expensive however walmart honors all their competitors pricing ... And their sales. So when I see something like that on a bogo sale..I take the ad to Wal-Mart and stock up. I ended up paying like S1.50 per Blue Diamond Almonds container! So in addition to the alternatives...keep an eye out on deals like that. Good luck!!

Shirataki noodles & rice
I've read and been told by our sushi chef at one of our restaurants, that you wash them thoroughly first for a couple minutes..then pat dry them and then they shouldn't have a taste, but will take on the taste of whatever sauce you put then in. It has said that when you open the bag to drain it, their Will be a fishy smell. People's reviews that I saw with spaghetti sauce say to mix them in the sauce and let them sit for a minute to absorb the flavor. There are ones that do have some calories but (it says)a more spaghetti like texture made with tofu. (Mine are called Miracle Noodle lol) I will report back as soon as the come in and I try them)

Shirataki noodles & rice
I read a great tip on here regarding Shirataki noodles - being there is 0 carbs, fat, sugars, calories, gluten free and vegan. I ordered some this week. I was just seeing if anyone else uses these and what they make with them or put them in. I am hoping I am ok with the texture and then what a wonderful filler and way to decrease my carbs!Very Happy
