Ta da! 💃💃🎉🎺🎷🎶

The 5 day fast will be broken today.

Starting weight: 245
Ending weight: 236

Day 1: Meh
Day 2: Hunger pangs in the evening, wide awake early in the morning
Day 3: Big 💩, felt cold in the afternoon, junk food fantasies in the evening, wakefulness in the middle of the night
Day 4: Brief feeling of light headedness in the evening, wakefulness in the middle of the night
Day 5: Bliss. Freedom from food obsession, increased libido, love for fellow man, wakefulness in the middle of the night

Alert and plenty of energy every day

I have scheduled new moon fasts for August, September, and October.

I expect some fairly significant weight fluctuations over the next few days. Wednesday's weigh in will tell the tale of how much fat I actually lost during this incredible experience.

OMG!!!!!! Youzzzzzzzzzzzzaaa! That is fantastic Lady! Don't forget the rebound gain! :) it's just food re-occupying your digestive tract. Happy dance for you!

Happy dance for you, too! Have you been experiencing wakefulness at night?

None except for having to get up and go pee every hour, but right back to sleep. I do tend to not get sleepy till about 11 or 12 pm and up again at 5, but that is normal for me.

U did a great job Lady, and your experiences were definitely beneficial. 5 to 7 day fasts once in awhile will benefit most people who can physically handle them (and mentally of course ;) ) glad you enjoyed.

You DID it, the whole she-bang 5 days fasting! Thanks for sharing your experience; I'm tucking it away for the time when I might get the notion to give it a shot. Nice loss, too.

You have tremendous mind power. The confidence and sense of self control this fast has given you may be as valuable as the other benefits. Congrats!

That is so amazing! Way to go. You're quite inspiring. I might try three days when you do your August one.

@KPW, nailed it. I feel like a new woman. Like I don't have to apologize for taking up space. @Barb, the greatest drop was after my third day. Maybe try a couple 36 hour ones between now and Aug 2. You have a busier life than me with your young family. Better to gear up a little first ☺

I love the day 5 epiphany. I wonder if that's why most religions advise fasting? Well done, Lady. I am mentally gearing up to walk in your footsteps!

Lady, I do fast for religious reasons and i can do 24-36 hours without a struggle. I just thought i might push myself a little. The medicine schedule i am on has me fasting 6 hrs between meals anyway. I'm ready to push a little but i will have to check my work schedule and start at my own time Depending on what days the 4th-8th covers.

Good job good luck.

Thanks, Josh. Barb, you'll find it surprisingly easy. If you can do 36, you are one hunger pang away from 48. If you can do 48, you'll make the 72. A sauna during the 3rd day would be epic.
