Fledgist's Journal, 24 October 2011

This morning I seem to have dropped off the plateau, just two days after complaining about it. This was a sudden and dramatic crash through the barrier. I checked and rechecked the weight, and made my wife come and look at the scale. It's a big drop in a week-end, but after a couple of weeks of no movement, and even slight movement back, I'm most gratified.

I did 50 minutes at the gym yesterday, and quite a bit of gentle walking afterwards, so I'm sure that I'm doing something right.
182.6 lb Lost so far: 154.4 lb.    Still to go: 14.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

way to go on the scales..being consistent with exercise is what it takes to get that scales to drop...sometimes just takes time for the scales to show the results your seeing with the loosness of the clothes....

Great news Fledgist... As the others have said - exercise is the key and it sometimes takes a while for the body to catch up :-)
