Good Monday Morning, Fellow Fat Secret Warriors and Buddies!!!!!
Had another "decent" week...Just want to encourage ALL of those who may
see a ZERO or a GAIN when they weigh-in today....There is an Children's song that
says: "The wheels on the bus go UP and DOWN, Up and Down, Up and Down..."
You probably remember it....Well, for the purposes of a healthy lifestyle and better weight management, we need to realize that the "NUMBERS on the scale, go UP and DOWN, Up and Down, Up and Down...ALL through our lives."
If you are UP on the scale today...FOR ANY REASON...or even for UNKNOWN reasons...PLEASE...do NOT "beat yourself up"...refuse to let your scale DEFINE you...We are SOOOO much more than our weight..OR even our physical condition...When I weighed over 500 lbs (Feb. 2009), I was NOT only a morbidly obese man, I was (and am) a faithful husband, a loving father (and now grand-father) a committed Christian,a loyal friend, and an honest, dependable, team-player at my workplace.
AND SO ARE ALL of YOU!!!! YOU ARE SO MUCH MORE than your struggle with weight.
Let me ENCOURAGE you today...See yourself as the VERY SPECIAL person you are...and if you have NOT done so already, take the advice of my good Buddy, HCB and "google" an article - - - Why the scale lies...AND realize if you and I practice the nutrition and excercise GUIDELINES we ALREADY know....in time, with consistent effort the weight WILL Move DOWNWARD...Be Encouraged and go Be the BEST person YOU can be (and are) this whole week!!!! We can ALL encourage someone TODAY!!!! Let's go CLIMB our MOUNTAIN and INSPIRE ourselves and others!!! God bless you ALL, TODAY and ALWAYS!!!!!

LOL...Yes, the WHEELS go ROUND and ROUNd...LOL...the PEOPLE on the bus go UP and Down....thanks....you will understand this when you get to be MY age...LOL...thanks for the correction.....AND also, I know not all of you have the SAME roles as me, but YOU are ALL wonderful people with LOTS of STRENGTHS to share...so let us ALL "play to our STRENGTHS this week"...Thanks so much !!!!!!!

my wt was at 290lb in sept 11th, im know at 255 lbs my goal is to get to 175 lbs i fix my own meals and Weight them out in grams and read a lot about nurtion

I keep my calories count between 1500-1800 cals but i also go by grams, take a can of tuna fish it as 141 gram per 5 oz so that only part of meal then you add vegs to it i go with 60 Grams but you do this for 4 to meals you have a protein drink you mix it what ever you like but make sure you weigh everthing and keep track of it ,my docotor gave me a diet one time of 2100- 2200 calories im duing better then that ,you have to set a goal and keep with it no matter were your at or who you see water is grat ,I stay away from butter,bread, sweets and fired food, mine is baked or broiled ,chicken,fish,vegs. salads small 200 grams and 140 grams of steak you kind of have to break it up for the week ,if you go off eat smaller amounts hope this helps
