I heard the call of the peanut butter after I got off here last night. :{

I don't know if that's really it or not, but blaming the peanut butter might keep my hand off it at night, at least for a while, I hope.

But, at least it's not a gain :}

Here's to getting it rolling down again tomorrow..... Rolling, rolling, rolling......

All natural peanut butter, no sugar added is terrific for you!!! As always in moderation!

Have you tried almond butter? Trader Joe's sells one that is nothing but almonds. delicious!

I'm finding organic unsweetened nut butters like almond and cashew as well as peanut in the grocery stores.

Problem is, I only like JIF peanut butter. I have been buying Simply JIF which is low sodium and 33% less sugar but the calories and fat is the same or pretty close to regular. The flavor is actually better than regular though.

Instead of having 2 Tablespoons of peanut butter, eat only 1 Tablespoon. I will have to find that low sodium and less sugar peanut butter. Thanks for the tip! :)

Simple Truth Organic Peanut Butter is good! The no stir version adds organic sugar, but it's still a lot better for people than refined sugar. However, the normal version (stir version I guess it could be called?) has no added sugar, and tastes great all the same! ^^

Scout, try a jar of the just peanuts one (no Jif until it's gone) then try Jif again and see what you think then. I used to love Skippy's Honey crunch one, can't stand it now.

I'll look for just peanuts and try that. The Simply JIF has a white label, easier to see..... I try to only have 1 tablespoon but that rarely works. I even tried a small spoon and just took an extra bite or two. What I need is to get back to NOT snacking at night..... If I can find the right combination of food for supper at work (8:00 PM) maybe I won't be so hungry after work (11:30 PM)..... Now that I think about it, a couple of days I had to make phone calls at first break and didn't eat my apple till lunch and I don't think I ate after work, so I guess I can either save the apple or pack 2. Packing 2 is probably a better option so I can skip something else that may be not as good for me.....

That's how you do it, Scout! Tweak your foods until you eat what you like and you are satisfied. The good thing about healthy snacks is that they stunt your hunger so you do not want extra portions of your next meal.

I find apples are a good snack, the fiber helps fill you up.
