I know the frustration. Snacking (especially at night) is one of my downfalls too. Maybe try adding an extra portion of lean protein at meals to help prevent the munchies? Hang in there!

Thanks everyone everyday for the support, it means a lot to know there are people rooting for each other, and to give supporting thoughts and advice. I feel bad typing my frustrations in my journals, I wonder if some people think some posts are just for attention. But, even if they are if you are a member ofvthis site, you are here for a reason and all members should support eachother in this particular journey/part of thier life. Could be a lasting impact

While I know BuffyBear was being supportive, you'd be better served with extra fiber as opposed to protein for staving off hunger munchies. Unfortunately there's nothing to stave off emotional munchies except to say I don't ... eat after 8 pm, eat these kinds of things, drink tonight, blah, blah, blah. When I win the emotional battle I will start waving a banner, but until then all I can do is support you. Good luck - you can do it.

you have to set up your eating across the day so you have something every 2-3 hours. Plus, you need to get water in you in copious amounts.. Keep at it. Make sure you're entering everything in here so you can see where you need to cut. Even if you only cut your intake by 100 calories a day, it's a start. Good luck.

IT gets better. Don't get discouraged with how quickly it happens for some people. It's taken me 2 months for me to see improvement in cravings. All the boards had me thinking there was something wrong with me. I also didn't lose weight for the first month. It's not MELTING off now but I'll take 2lbs this week.

You have already lost an amazing amount. Those remaining few pounds left to reach your goal are tricky but you can do it.Take it slow and dont stress.

Sometimes when you are almost at your goal you have to re-adjust a bit or try something a little different. Your body isn't using the calories it used to hauling around that extra weight. Your weight loss can also slow way down.
