Well it's quite obvious that stress and lack of sleep and weight loss don't go together for me. I only had 3 meals in Vegas and didn't go way overboard and I've stayed on track since I got home. This gain is really frustrating. I just can't seem to get out of the 170's. I think I'm going to have to go back to the way I was eating that got me my 80 pound loss and reversed my diabetes.

176.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 31.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Did you fly to Vegas? And have you been drinking a lot of water. Flying can really dehydrate you, and that will throw your system off. Give yourself a few days back in routine and see if it goes back to normal.

Just a question? I looked at your exercise and I didn't see much of exercise. Are you exercising? I only ask because I went thru the same instance. I would eat better but notice very little to no weight loss even tho the diet I was doing stated as long as I kept my carbs below 50 a day I would have to do minimal to no exercise. Boy they were wrong! So now I am starting exercise into my diet and hoping this will increase the weight loss. Just my experience, everyone's different. You may have to find your own. Good luck and you can do it!

Honestly I didn't work out since last Wed I think. I was in Vegas until Sat. But I also have only been getting in 25 to 30 min when I do workout. My Mom has now become total care and can't even get out of bed so that has been taking up a big part of my day. I know, NO EXCUSES. I'll try getting up even earlier to get more workout in.

Stress makes me gain weight, too. The only thing that helps is working out and sleeping better... but who has time for that?!

Also stuck in the 170's and need to incorporate more exercise to tighten up the loose skin - have lost about 100 lbs.

I know how you feel. Very frustrating. We just have to keep at it. I am aggravated by losing about a half a pound a week, I think I need to do more exercise than most to get that metabolism going.
