I need to figure out what kind of foods to eat that will help aid in my… Elimination. because what’s going on now is not working. I’ve tried fibrous foods, that’s not doing any good, and laxatives not working either. I guess it’s the lack of food that’s causing me to not be able to dominate properly. I know, TMI. But I was hoping that somebody would have a few suggestions.

Start taking a good probiotic every day & give it a week or two. I do low carb, so I also have one Mission Carb Smart tortllla daily. The are very high in fibre & easier to consume than mountains of broccoli.

my bodily functions changed after I became strict with my diet. strict, meaning fewer calories from excellent food sources. so *maybe* you don't need to worry.

I take a probiotic in the mornings because otherwise my pain meds constipate me, but if taken daily I have stomach pains because I "go" TOO much, so I dropped it down to taking it every other day and everything comes out just fine! 🙂

Agree with DJ! At least a gallon each day. Water!! Not coffee- juice-tea! WATER!

have you tried eating your daily fruit with peeling on it? wash well before eating helps like that over a 30 period and plenty of water, pasta or flour acts like paste in intestinal area so try to limiting those type foods

I have a lot of no pooping problems. I drink a ton of water (You do not need a gallon) and exercise near daily. My husband swears by apples. I started taking these gummie chewables but I also went back to using Ole wraps in the place of bread because they are only 50 calories and they happen to have a lot of fiber. Coffee always helps me. If there is anything that works, its with my coffee in the morning and also randomly jalapenos or grapes. Good luck.

I’m having the same problem too now that I’m on a cut lol... I think it’s the less amount of foods consumed. Therefore the intestine is not full. I poop fine every mornin on maintenance and surplus cals but on my cutting cals I poop very little and feel constipated some days.

Don't give up on the high fiber foods just yet. Consistency is necessary though and shoot for fiber macro over 28g day. I also use the senna laxative as needed rather than a TON of powdered drink. Best wishes for you to find a regimen that works for you...we're all different that way! 👍🙏💙

veggies, water, walking and squats. in that order. you don't have to walk fast either. it's all about moving your body.

Add psyllium powder to your fave drinks. Yerba Prima or Organic India good brands— stay away from Metamucil— too much funky stuff

I used to have this issue quite a bit when I was on some medications... about the only thing I do these days is ensure I drink plenty of water and I do take a magnesium supplement daily. Red wine for me is highly effective. Good luck.

Hydration! A little apple cider vinegar in a tall glass of water 1st thing AM followed by a glass of plain water. Lots of water between meals and a warm herbal tea with meals. Sometimes digestive enzymes and probiotics with meals can help. Vitamin C and Magnesium can help too. Hope you are feeling better soon!

A low carb diet has very little fiber. Add fiber up to 20gm (Psyllium = Metamucil) is easiest. Another option is add PEG3350 (Miralax) 1/2 cap/day, adjust as needed. Both take a day or two to work and will soften and bulk-up the stool enough to make you regular and not constipated.

Coffee really helps me and I try to get enough water. I always seem to need to "go" when I'm about half an hour in to my walk and half to hurry home!

Walking/exercise, lots of water, hot tea, and coffee. That's coffee without dairy, as milk & cream cause constipation. I haven't browsed your diet, but definitely eliminate the dairy (cheese, milk, whey, etc.) because as we get older, our bodies are less and less able to digest it. Also make sure you've got leafy greens going on with your meat, so the fiber helps push the protein through your system.
