Update: I use an Apple Watch, upgraded to the Ultra (waterproof), a training app called "Zones for Training" and a Withings Smart Scale I got off Amazon for $50 for all my stats and measures. I walk dogs a lot, I swim in an endless pool and I'm learning to love the treadmill and spin bike. I’ve added another app for tracking macros during the day. We’ll see how it goes.

You're not going to see a lot of memes and quotes from me for the most part. For better or worse, my content and comments are my own. I'm not on social media a whole lot, there's not enough time. If I'm not commenting, it's because I didn't see it, or I have nothing positive to add. I don't like bullies. I don't like trolls. I am very sure of who I am at this point in my life and I like who I am. I am focusing more on my real life than my online profile. I know I don't know everything and feel life is a learning process. I try to encourage, I'm learning there. That's me in a nutshell.

How do You Deal with Alcohol Events?
That is a good idea, especially as I'm not a huge fan of whiskey as opposed to my very bad friend, tequila. Most of those days are behind me, I think, but best not to tempt fate. Adding ice is a good trick. Keeps people off your back.

How do You Deal with Alcohol Events?
I've been doing a fair job this week staying away from the carbs, but Friday I have a social gathering where I will be sitting at a table for several hours with wine, booze and who knows what else in front of me? Other than gleefully sticking with cheese and charcuterie, what do you do to stay low carb during get-togethers and holidays?

I need suggestions!

Every morning. Once. I've noticed I try to avoid the scale when I'm not adhering to plan.

Incentive
I think it's great if it's just one special thing and you're close. I have a pair of pants that are close and I hung them up on the back of my door so I can see them as a visual reminder. On the other hand, a closet full of clothes that are from a past life; fashion moves on, so should you. Let them go, either donate them or put them up for sale on a site like poshmark and buy new clothes with the money you make.
