Long stretch and not much movement. Huge construction project without access to computer meant logging food via phone app. Challenging, but I got it done, every day.

In spite of lots of visits to the gym and a ton of exercise doing flooring at home over the past 5 days, only a tiny victory on the scale.

However Classic Rocker and Northernmusician pointed out that a year ago, I wouldn't have been able to help out in this flooring project at all, so I will take that victory. I must have burned 4000 calories a day. Completely exhausted!

The speed of weight loss doesn't matter, because you're heading in the right direction and that's what counts. Plus, with your gym activity, you're probably building muscle, which weighs more than fat but takes up less space. You might start noticing a difference in how your clothes fit.

Great that you are doing so well! Don't worry at all about the speed of weight loss at this point. You are building muscle, weighs more, takes up less space. I have to keep reminding myself of the same thing. Go to my before and after photo on my profile page (least I think its there) Last summer I had hanging skin on my back, now weight is in the same range, but what a difference some weights make! You're on a roll. I'm pulling for you!

You're doing great and losing is a success. I really don't know anyone who gets this journey done quickly. Truly being able to do things that previously would have been near impossible to possible is a great victory.
