What if Little Jackie Shaffer never grew up? When my daughter was a little girl, she cried for Puff the Magic Dragon, so I wrote an extra verse where Puff found her and recovered. She promised to never leave him. To this day, my now adult daughter keeps that stuffed dragon in a place of honor.
