Happy Saturday everyone!!! I hope you are all having a glorious day. My hunny and I went shopping and paid some bills. We went to lunch and I ate way too much. It was all low carb, bacon and salad and chicken wings but there was more than I should have eaten. My stomach hurts. I feel good though, I ate way less than I used to, ate way better options and still am only at just over 1200 calories. I won't eat again today, so I feel like, even though my stomach hurts, I did good.

I sent a snap chat to my sister this morning because I got new mascara that makes my lashes look fabulous and she responded "your face looks so thin!". It made me feel good, I know I am still very fat, but the changes I see make me happy. Long way to go, but I'm getting there.

While at the restaurant, I was getting my salad and this older woman looked me up and down, frowned at me and shook her head. I told my husband, if she only knew how hard I worked to get where I am, or how hard it is for me to go into a buffet knowing people are going to stars and judge me, maybe she wouldn't. He reminded me that some people are jerks no matter what and that what mattered was that I was there with him and to him I am the most beautiful woman in the world. Initially, it hurt, but the more I think about it, the sadder I am for the woman. h
She judged me, based on how I looked. She might be missing out on so many wonderful people because she doesn't like how they look and that's sad. Anyways, overall, it's been a good day. I hope you are all having a great weekend as well!!

You have a real man for a husband and that's just some dried up old bitch who was probably never happy about anything in life. Now you should be proud of yourself, keep in mind the changes will and are happening to you 24/7 can you imagine yourself two months from now you'll be amazed and you'll want to do more after that and we will be cheering you on.Try not to fall under 1200cals cause you don't want your body to start saving your intake and l hope your excersizing that important that gives your body something to think about like dropping the fat... Here's an old but true saying Eat to lose Starve to gain You have to excersize to make A happen!

@Murph, I try to eat 1100-1200 a day, but sometimes I just get too full. It's harder now that I am not eating absolute junk to hit higher calories but I try. Thanks for the advise, I am exercising as much as I can. It's slow going, starting out, but at least it's something. @8Patty, Thank you Mama Patty. At first, I wanted to cry, but then I realized that she doesn't know me. I can't let her control how I feel about me. And right now, I am proud of me!!

Good for you! Kudos to your husband too! He def had the right words for you! Keep that great attitude up! You can lose weight, she will have a harder time losing her nasty. Take comfort in that! I have a hard time meeting my calorie goals too. Probably because I ate too many carbs. Who knew veggies had so many carbs :) We are all a "work in progress"!

Good for you. There is a real need in judgmental people that feeds their ego. Somehow it seems to make them better than someone else or feel better about themselves if they can judge or put down someone else. Helps me to ease that hurt and pray for them.

I was 400 pounds back in the 90s, I lost all the weight after my Mother passed away, I found out, how differently some people treat us when we are thinner, trust me I was treated much better after I lost weight by most, I got a promotion at work after losing weight, however, there were some people, that proved that wrong, I finally got the nerve to ask this girl out I had long had a crush on her, and she asked me what took me so long to ask her out, I told her I did not have the nerve when I was 400 pounds, she told me that never mattered to her wish I had known that before!, Sad note, right after we started dating, she was diagnosed with MS, and Cancer, and died shortly there after! Moral of the story, never let the way we look stop us from anything! Now I am losing weight for health reasons not to make anyone else happy!

Your hubby is a sweetie! You have a supportive family, you are lucky. That woman should just mind her own business! You don't know another person's story, so I admire you for thinking that maybe she has had a sad life to be someone who judges harshly.

It's so good to hear you are getting out and about with your hubby! He's a keeper by being so supportive of you! :) I hope you remember what the lady looks like. You might run into her again in a year. She won't recognize you then and you will have a smile on your face!! :) So proud of you for all that you are doing!
