I know I should get some of those keto sticks to see if I am in ketosis, but I am losing weight. I can see it in my face and in the fit of my clothes. I am worried that if I get them and am not in ketosis, I will get discouraged and want to quit. I just dont know what to do. I want to succeed, but I am also afraid. This can get so frustrating.

Has anyone tried that drink mix that is supposed to put your body immediately into ketosis? I forget what its called, something ketones...I dont remember right now. But if you know, and have tried it, how do you feel about it?

That fruity smell can manifest as bad breath -- it's a sure sign that you are in ketosis. If you're losing weight, you're burning fat. Keep up the good work!

I do not see any value in Keto strips. I see it in a very simple way. By not eating much carb and only do moderate protein, the only way out is Ketosis.

just keep your carbs at 20 and you'll be there no worries!!! This whole weight loss is 90% in our head...don't let fear get the best of you! Just eat when you're hungry, count your carbs and keep them strictly at 20, and don't over complicate it :)

The keto sticks are cheap and they are reassuring, and easy to pick up at any drug store. They are not necessary, but hey, if they encourage you....... why not!

ketone strips are helpful but not necessary if you're following strict keto, I have tried the pruvit keto supplements and they are great but expensive. I say if you have the money def get it bc they do help and suppress hunger. And their expense is just as much as what people spend on herbalife, 310 shakes, etc.

Your level of ketosis varies so much. I have a meter and run between 0.5 and 3.5 mmol/L, so your coloremetric indicators might not show your real progress. Sounds like you are doing well, keep up the good work!

I am no expert, but I am skeptical of the claims about Exogenous Ketones. They help keep you fat - burning when you have too much carbs but I doubt they actually put your body into ketosis. Just because you have artificially elevated ketones in your bloodstream, doesn't mean you are not burning glucose.

don't stress and don't waste money on Ketone powders. focus on keeping your carbs low, but your protein, use fat to keep you satisfied.
