Today for the first time MyFitnessPal said if everyday were like today I'd be 189 in five weeks. I can't believe that. I know it won't be five weeks but maybe in 8 weeks. I did a lot of walking today, 5.60 miles. I haven't been under 190 since high school. I could be 185 by the time my husband comes home and that would be such a huge accomplishment. I am determined. I slacked on homework today because I wanted to walk longer. Balancing getting my degree, raising these kiddos with eating right and exercising is hard. I can do it.
206.0 lb Lost so far: 48.0 lb.    Still to go: 42.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

One tip for snacking while having kids. Buy the snack pack sizes of chips and only bring enough along for the kids... but pack yourself veggies, meat slices and cheese. Avoid the possibility of eating them by eliminating the option. I used to being family sized bags along in the car and pass them around, but now I either pack my two kids two baggies or the snack sized bags. Because we all know those snack pack sizes won't have enough for us mom's after the kids get their hands on them...

Of course you can do this! Because all of us ladies are superwomen, we can handle it all. We should have S on our chest.

I agree with Mal321. Women are very powerful. I also like Mamamc7 tips on the veggies, meat slices and cheese. You are almost @ Onederland. Go MylaM, Go!

Thank you all. I have been bringing snacks for myself and snacks for the kids to keep myself on track and usually they want some of mine.

Good plan - being intentional about snack types (and timing) will help you live it out for the next generation! Very proud of you!

WOW - similar history as you! I graduated from DeVry summa cum laude in 2014 - my kiddos were in elementary and middle - hubby wasn't working - except at home of course - I worked a regular 40 hours a week - then part-time at the school as a tutor. I was hospitalized in 2010 (first month after I started) with pulmonary embolism - 2013 I had a heart attack in April and another in October of the same year! I still finished in 2014 with honors! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! No doubt! The second heart mixed with my husbands heart attack in 2014 is what motivated me to get my butt in gear and start living a healthier life! I couldn't imagine not being here to see my kids become adults AND to see my grandbabies in about 10 more years!!! LOL
