Oh, my dear friends, how I feel your pain and disillusionment.*TIN FOIL HAT TIME* But I have to tell you that I went down a deep rabbit hole a few years back, and came out knowing that whoever is seated in the Oval Office is merely a puppet...one who has the hands of people you've never heard of up his butt so far, the fingers are his tongue. I knew back in August that Trump was chosen by the world financial interests, when I read in a backwater blurb that he'd met with Henry Kissinger. Elections are a sham. Our "leaders" are Selected, not Elected. Google the Roman concept of, "bread and circuses" to understand that is entertainment, reality TV at its most contrived, and a way to divide and conquer. Life will go on, the rich will get richer, and you will continue to do the best you can. That is all.

Andie, I feel your pain. I live in SoCal, where over 40% of the population is Latin. I feel many of them are going to feel the pain in the next 4 years when their relatives are blocked or deported, despite working long hours and sending money "home" to family a lot worse off. My best friend is a naturalized citizen, but she's still frightened at the bigotry. 

I apologize and deleted my comment as it does nothing for this thread/post. I will say again good luck, this is an excellent forum for support for people in need.  

April, Trump has promised many non-whites that they're not welcome in the USA. He has no regard for the rights of the citizens. He has made this clear. He will not be a good president. 

If he does do it.. it will only be for the whites... 

I'm white, so.. maybe I'll be ok.. but.. I have friends, neighbors... keep in mind, there are still people alive today that the president rounded up Japanese Americans to put them in camps.... All this is still possible today...  

Pickles, have you thought that the reason why trump got the electoral vote and won the presidency is because a near record amount of dormant voters, were not happy of the way obama/hillary were taking the country in? right or wrong they weren't happy. AND I'm glad you assume I'm a trump supporter. I don't like either candidate. But thanks for assuming ;) have a good night everyone. GODSPEED.

Sorry, Redgirl. I have been SO depressed today, along with my wife. My wife was not very far from a crazy, gunman yesterday, who killed one shot 4 others including two women. It hopefully will be Ok. Trump has the opportunity to get a lot of legislation passed. We just have to hope it will be productive legislation, and not just tearing up what Obama tried to accomplish. I really hate partisan politics, and would like to see productive, constructive legislation passed, for ALL people, not just WHITE people. We can hope and pray, that it can happen.
