Redgirl is back and ready to attack. My month long much needed break is over and Im reading to dig in again. For anyone feeling tired or worn out, I highly recommend the break. I had been at this for almost 2 yrs now and I needed it. I strayed off my diet and ate and drank too much, and only did treadmill 2-3 a week. I managed to maintain my weight though. I attempted to restart a few time and just didnt follow thru. However all of that is behind me. Shopping and meal prep for the week done. Cleaned out the carbage. Re-upped on my supplement and packed my little pill dispenser, you know the kinds with the days of the week on it ? New spiral for logging is ready. Gonna carry that with me every where. And gym clothes are out and ready to go ! Have a wonderful week every one.

Very nice, a diet break after a long deficit does wonders for your hormonal profile. Its also good practice for staying at maintenance post loss. Good luck with your next push.

It's probably a good reset for the metabolism too. I'm sure the scale will reflect it as well.

Well done on maintaining! That is very good news! I agree it's good to take breaks - as long as that doesn't mean a return to the old ways, which obviously in your case it didn't!

Love the old school spiral notebook for logging. Funny how all this can be tracked online or with gadgets, but nothing is as satisfactory as putting pen on paper. I'm right there with you on doubling-down for October!
