BuffyBear's Journal, 20 October 2011

I know I've been running my mouth about keeping my calories down, but I have actually done it 2 days in a row. Am hoping today will make 3rd time a charm.

Was upset yesterday. Lost the birthstone out of my ring (sentimental favorite because it was the first ring my hubby ever bought me). But he told me to just take it to the jeweler and he'd replace it. So now I'm OK - figure it must be hormones?

Will keep in mind that tomorrow is Friday!

Good for you. I know how difficult it can be trying to balance out carbs and calories without getting blowing one or the other OR finding oneself in that dark, dark "ultra-low calorie" zone we all want to avoid. Losing such a sentimental stone must have been heart-breaking. Even though the stone won't be the very same one, at least the setting can stay the same, so the look will be the same. Hope you find a wonderful, skilled jeweler.

Sandy & Bren - Thanks. If you guys can do it there is no reason why I can't. And as for the ring - it is just a "thing". I need to start paying attention to the more important things in life.

You are on a roll! Fantastic!! I wish I could eat the SAME exact things; I am struggling to keep my numbers in line, 1600 is hard for me to keep! To bad about the ring, at least hubby wasn't upset & it will be fixed. Wacky hormones are my problem lately!

GG - you exercise your calories off. Since I don't I need to stay below 1600 - at least that is this week's experiment.

Great job with the calories. Sorry that you lost the stone out of your ring. The jeweler will be able to make it like new. Have a great Friday!

Hey Buffy I keep missing you these days. Sorry about the ring - we do hold some things dear to us - I am sure you will love it just as much once it is repaired. Have a lovely weekend :)
