So I am challenging myself to NO weigh in until Oct 30. I try and not get frustrated with the scale but deep down it does bother me . I weighed in last Friday and posted my weight , tried to do measurements but I think I screwed up my first measurement 5 weeks ago,, so saw know improvement there either .I am doing every thing I should be doing , I am down 2 sizes,, I feel good I look good (from what others say),, so I am just going to continue down this path lay off the scale and see what happens in 4 weeks . I will still be stalking you all and posting here and there ,I still need MY FS fix everyday. So keep up the Good work and wish me Luck with my self Challenge !

congrats! yea i need my fs fix daily as well, i try to weigh in once a week, i should prob take measurements but i dont have time for that, just eat clean weigh in and call it a day.

My trainer says not to weight in but once a month but I don't listen. However i did create my own log where i write down my weight once a months and the differences are huge and 8-10 lbs looks a lot better than 1 or 2 ...and remember, the scale is just one of many tools used to measure success. If you look and feel better then don't take the scale too personally. AND your weightlifting... muscle is a lot denser that fat ..Dont get discouraged. Your doing really really good! And it it makes you feel better, I've only lost 1 inch on my waist in 2 months even though I've lost 20 lbs..its coming off my legs and arms right now.. Be patient and dont let this bring you down.. your too invested..

I get too consumed with the scale. I took the batteries out of my scale and placed it in the closet. I am only checking my weight monthly along with measurements. It really does help my mindset because I always see a loss at the end of the month in one or both areas. I wish you tons of luck with this goal!!

If that works for you then go with it. I know I weight everyday and record my weight every Friday because that is what works for me.

I weigh in everyday also. For me the reason is if I see I'm staying the same or losing, I'm doing good. If I gain,it makes me exercise more & watch what I eat more carefully. If I don't weigh everyday & feel I'm doing good, I might take an extra bite or exercise a bit less. Sort of like a speedometer on car. I have to glance at it unless I have speed control set.

2 sizes! This is very very good. I wish you good luck and i am sure you'll manage to handle it. Unfortunately i can not live without the scale.

Good for you on your weight loss! I hope weighing in monthly works well for you. Everyone is different, & what works well for one won't work for another.
