Tamarah Jo's Journal, 15 October 2015

I am trying diligently to log food , I find this just a daunting task but I realize how important it is to this whole process. I Have stalled out and I am thinking I may be eating to much healthy Fat. I don't think anything of adding extra fat to my food because I follow a LCHF WOE . but maybe my body is so busy burning Dietary Fat, it doesn't get a chance to burn my body fat . So going to keep an eye on Fat and carbs of course,, and see where I am at with those as well for a bit . everything else is good for now so wish me Luck . any encouragement welcome,,, UGH !!!

Remember Tamarah, one step at a time. Also, listen to your body. If you eat something that your body isn't liking, it'll let you know. It's a process just keep moving forward. If you haven't looked at employing a nutritionist to help you out, you might look into it. Speaking from experience, it can be an invaluable resource. Also, your local government, county, may provide the service for free.

But when it comes to the end of your trip you will be very happy you took the time to do it and after a while you will be sitting at the table and someone will be like what are you doing and your going tell them writing down what I eat so I can keep track of what I eat.

i took a peek at your food journal and, since you asked, maybe try a few tweaks? while you have only logged the past few days and i don't know if it's complete, just based on that i would say you're not eating enough fat. i don't know what stage of Atkins you're in, but your fat should be higher than your protein so your body uses the fat first. unused protein turns into glycogen (a carb) and will sabotage your efforts. also, remember to eat your low-carb veggies because that's where most of your carbs should come from. try this calculator to help you figure out what your macros should be on a keto-adapted woe: http://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ good luck!!
