Greetings my Buddies:

Welcome to a new week of healthy choices and opportunities for change!

At the end of this week, I again meet with the trainer for bodyfat calipers (Eeekkk) which marks the end of our 90 Day Challenge at the gym.

But, of course, I signed up for Part 2 - so I am ready for another 90 Day Challenge! Woo-Hoo.

And, it is time for new "Words of the Week."

Words of the Week:
"The true competition is against the little voice inside you that wants you to quit."

I am dedicated, determined and diligent.

Congratulations on your second 90 day challenge. Good luck and remember it's a transformation as much as anything. Time to make all the good habits stick.

Yes - the Challenges at my gym are about building muscle and losing bodyfat. It also helps keep people engaged since many people do not like being inside to exercise when summer comes to Minneapolis.

Torture chamber instruments, i.e. Evil Calipers and Evil Slide Scales, employed by gym employees are really good motivation tools. I have a love/hate relationship with them. Hey, HCB - can you find out the stats on your trainer? His height/weight would really be great motivation for the men here on FS who need an idea of what "Healthy" & "Ideal" really look like (and not those listed on the doctor/insurance company charts).
