Works scales still in question (I'm doing the math based off the expected margin of error in them); weigh in will be verified at doctor's office this afternoon for my normal Monday weigh in check. Home scale had me down a little more, but I use this as my official weigh in; in case anyone at work wanted to join in.

Now for this week's message.

Let us go out & be aggressive as this new week on the mountain dawns on us gang. Make sure we remain vigilant & resolute to see our transformation through to the peak seeking goals we set for ourselves when we took those first steps up in elevation from the valley floor. Stay focused on the long journey & know that it can only be accomplished by navigating the ebb & flow of the climb.

With that being said, we choose to scale this mountain because we were seeking change. With change, real change, there comes the responsibility to correct one's habits & practices that created the situation that required changing in the first place.

We all recognized, we needed, something that must change in order for us to be the people we wanted to be. We all know this journey would be hard & fraught with temptations. We all have looked at that example body & asked ourselves why can't I look like that? I would say the majority of us have tried to climb this mountain more than one time; only to slide back to the valley & come out heavier on the other end. I know I have. This will not be that time.

I am here to say, if you will accept the changes you must make; forgo labeling this journey a temporary diet that will one day allow you to consume in the same manner you did in the past & is actually a re-teaching event of how to live; & know that if you refuse to quit you can have that "example" body; this will be your exodus event & final ascent up this mountain. The peak will be freedom; not the starting line to a vicious cycle of re-gain & repeat.

Throw down the gauntlet on our old habits. Identify the conduct & behaviors that put you in this situation & vow to abandon them. If you always do what you've always done; you will always be, what you've always been. That era is over. We are seekers of our "new" self. Like BB said last week, our best body lies ahead of us. I want the New Jon mentality to have a New Jon exterior & I want the same for everybody who wants to climb this mountain with me.

Gang take this week to look deep into that reflection in the mirror. Talk to it. Scream at it. Tell it the old habits are gone; you are replacing them. Tell it, this is a new world, that will be lived by a new you. I want this so much for myself, but I also want it so much more for all of us. I know what it means to each of you, because I know what it means to me. Making my goal will be a joyful event, but being past of a legion of peak seekers hitting their goal; I can't imagine what that will feel like. I can just see us, in my mind's eye, welcoming each other to the peak as our goals are achieved.

So let this band of climbers of mountains set this Fat Secret community on fire with enthusiasm. Let us inspire everyone who dreams this same dream. Let us light the lanterns across this mountain showing the path to the peak. Let us be new. Let us be changed. Let this dream no longer be a dream. This is our new reality. This is a new world, waiting on the new you.

Now let's go out there & make that new you happen.
