Whatever you and the doctor are comfortable is fine!!!- I am 5'4 and have a large frame. 140 looks good on me, I making my goal 138-140...I love food so I know I will not drop below 135 unless I become ill/ That lady was really rude To you

She must have known you from when you were heavier, otherwise she wouldn't have said anything. Is that woman overweight and unwilling to get healthy herself?

I always consult my doctor with any questions I have. People always have opinions but I find it better to go with his and mine. And yes I have known her for many years. And she has always been skinny, but not very healthy. And to try to get people to understand that skinny doesn't mean healthy is not an easy task. We get bombarded with images of thin skinny women all the time. It's sad.

I totally agree with you! I often write about how we are seeking health and fitness through healthy living - not a temporary "diet" to lose weight and then go back to old habits. It is a lifetime change! I may weigh more than I would like - but I am stronger now than I was 20 years ago!

I wish you don't run into that woman again! If you do, just smile and say Thanks, have a nice day, and walk off. Just because she wants to give you her opinion, you don't have to listen to her. You know yourself and your doctor's advice. Letty, you look marvelous! Put her on ignore. :)
