Greetings my Buddies:
I had a productive weekend - it was finally warm enough to get out and take the Holiday lights down and put away. I also got two vegetable concoctions made to eat throughout the week which saves a ton of time.
We saw an Irish animated movie called, "The Song of the Sea" which was magical and had calming music.
I had a decent workout at OTF today but my legs were really tired after the elliptical, rowing machine, and dead lifts. Since I lifted yesterday, it seemed like I was more tired.
Food is going well - not sure I will lose weight but hope to build more muscle and lose body fat.
My macros were great today: 2418 sodium, 55.98 fat, 26.1 fiber, net carbs 39.95, 111.42 protein, 1193 calories
The words of the week: Fat Burn Baby!
I am dedicated, determined, and diligent.

Listen to your body. You might need a day or two off from the heavy lifting. It could be your muscles are not getting enough recovery time. I KNOW you are going to lose weight at this rate. You are a little dynamo, HCB!

Thanks M2B, Bill and skwhite. I hope to see the scale move down again - though not my primary focus - it would be nice to finally see some fat loss show on the Idiot Box!

HCB I bought some eggplant today and I am going to try your recipe some time this week. I have to go back and copy it now. Can't wait.

You may need a bit higher levels of carbs if you are going to keep up the frequency and intensity of exercise. That level can increase cortisol, which can slow down weight loss, or effect your thyroid function. I have found I feel much better if I get some sweet potatoes, carrots, or similar veggies in at the end of the day. Helps with sleep, and cortisol cycle. Keep an eye on your energy level, because that will be the first clue that you might need to tweak the levels a bit.

At least you know you are healthier after all this. We all know there is only so much the scale will tell you.
