Greetings Buddies!

So, happy dancing I just received my new scale from Amazon that cost under $40. It measures weight, body fat%, water%, muscle% and bone%. I have to figure out a couple things - like the best time to weigh since different things can change the numbers. I am most interested in the body fat% to see if it changes over time.

I just cooked up a batch of mashed cauliflower with grass fed butter and garlic. Makes a reasonable potato substitute and is enough for six servings! Planning ahead is the key!

And, I went to my husband's
SnapFitness this afternoon and did 30 minutes of weight work. So, it gives me a fifth workout this week. We shall see how this works for me.

Good workouts!! Glad your scale is working for you. You guys all make me think I should get a niftier scale, mine s a $10.00 dial one from Walmart. ;)

Have fun with your new "toy". BTW - try adding different seasonings to the mashed cauliflower, sprinkle a little cheese on top and bake to make "twice baked" cauliflower. The thing about this is you can serve it to guests and actually get complements.

Great ideas Buffy! I am doing Primal/Paleo so no dairy for me - no cheese. And I do not miss it at all.

It's really odd but the only time I wish I could use cheese is when I am doing phase 2 of the Fast Metabolism Diet. This is a low carb/low fat phase. When I think back, 50% of what I made had cheese on it. Maybe why I had so many plateaus? Not sure, but HCB you are rocking this town! Keep it going! Oh ... also ... I wanted to ask you what type of indoor grill did you find? I have thought about getting one but no idea what to get.
