I met with my trainer at the gym last night for the second time. I really struggle through these workouts. Since my cancer it hurts to move. I'm cancer free for 5years now but my muscles have just wasted away. I swear I think fat replaced muscle. That gripe having been released into a safe place... Lol... I feel so awesome afterwards. I'm very sore but I feel alive!!! I do still struggle with late night eating. After all of this time on LCHF and 160+lbs gone it's still tough around 1am. I'm always starving when I wake up. Drives me nuts!!!!

Just started exercising last week (every other day) and today is the first that I'm not really sore. You'll get it back!

An exercise routine can be tough at first. Stick with it and it gets easier, when you feel the positive results it's a big motivator. Wishing you great succes!

I'm so inspired by your weight loss, keep up the good work! One thing that has helped me with muscle soreness in addition to sitting in the steam room after workouts is collagen protein supplement. It helps muscles recover from inflammation after exercise but a lot of body builders use it because it really helps to build lean muscles also. I use Vital Proteins Collagen but I've also heard good things about Great Lakes Collagen.

LOL - you said it drives you "nuts" if you wake up hungry! Grab about 10 raw almonds - that will satiate you!
