Gift for a co-worker...I need ideas.

A lady I work with always makes wonderful blankets for my kids. I never ask her to do this, but she loves to "spoil" them with a handmade blanket. I know she puts a lot of work into them, and her own money.

I'd like to do something special for her from my kids. Any ideas?

cash or a gift card in a card all have signed along with something special you have cooked with your kids.

I agree with Unamoyer. A gift certificate is a great idea. If you are great at DIY projects and crafts you could make something for your co-worker. Homemade gifts are the best.

Have them make her something special to eat, like a nice dessert or entree dish but let them make it from start to finish for her. They can also "wrap" it up and make a card from them to her and even deliver it to her in person, if possible. If they are too young for kitchen activities, have them fingerpaint something special for her for the holidays. Handmade gifts are from the heart. You could also take some photographs of your children with those blankets, turn them to black and white, and frame them for her. The kids can sign the glass with a black magic marker for a personalized touch.

If they have a pinterest account I stalk it to see what they like. Also food is always a great way to go. :)

I like the idea of them making her something in return...like Christmas ornaments or cookies or painting her a picture and then you can frame it...I'm a sucker for homemade and personal items from my nieces for like bdays, it means so much when you know they did it themselves :)

If she has something she likes for a treat, like coffee, you could get her a gift card for her favorite coffee place, or a nice bag of coffee and a cute mug (it could even be a mug with your kiddos pics in it), or something along those lines. I like the personal gifts from the kids too. One of the ladies in my office loves my kids and has done things for and with them and she even appreciates pictures that they color especially for her, she will use them to decorate her office. Maybe they could color her a nice Christmas picture or something, sign it, and you could frame it for her.
