Trick or Treat last night, we didn't have a lot of kids. Of course I bought too much candy as usual and even after giving away handfuls it's still left. I made some sweet potato and parsnip chips to eat, thanks to the microwave recipe ChrisComedy posted a few days ago. Surprisingly they turn out great in the microwave, better than a regular oven. Despite having those to eat I still managed to eat some candy. Up a half pound today so it's not a disaster, I'll be fasting until dinner today, cleaning up leaves, and working on my cars so it'll be an active day.
I'd mentioned before that Thursday night we took our grandkids to the Halloween parade in town. Here's a picture of grandma with Ryder the 1 1/2 year old Oompa Loompa.

She made the costume, did a great job. He also had white gloves but they didn't stay on long and they didn't stay white. Too bad I didn't get a decent picture of my other grandson who's 9, he was a baseball player. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
