Happy Halloween, everyone!
Oh, the life of a procrastinator. My pumpkin is still staring at me, uncarved. *sigh* My Richard Simmons Halloween costume is missing its crucial wig component, and I have way too many errands to run today in addition to all of my usual butt-kicking awesomeness. I'm swamped!

And now that I officially have the appetite and metabolism of a 17-year old boy (no kidding, I can't wolf down food fast enough these days to keep up with the amount of exercise I do!), I desperately need to go to the grocery store because I've devoured half the pantry in a few days.

Two things I'd like to do this weekend are the nearby Bikram yoga studio (also known as the "hot yoga") is having an open house tomorrow with free classes, so I want to give it a try to see if I like it! It's 90 minutes of sweaty poses in a 105 degree room! What's not to love about that, right?!?! Also, I'm also still DYING to try the indoor trampoline gym nearby! I doubt I'll get around to dragging the Sig-O there this weekend, but a gal can dream, can't she?

And where on earth am I going to find a Richard Simmons wig on Halloween??
I'm doomed. Damn you, Richard Simmons for having such awesome hair!

Ok, enough typing, more butt-kicking. Gotta run, Folks. Be safe tonight, and take it easy on that Halloween candy! :)
*muaaahhhhh*

At least you have a pumpkin...I'm off to the store during lunch now to buy one hopefully. Looking forward to roasting the seeds too. Have a great Halloween, hope you find a suitable wig.

Don't worry, Ladie. Candy and I are no longer on speaking terms! It's dead to me! I haven't had candy in at least 2 years, I think. And I have no desire to ever eat another piece of it!

jmb, pumpkin seeds are great roasted, but they pack an even bigger nutritional punch when eaten raw. FYI, the vitamin E & vitamin K levels drop significantly when they are roasted. I air-dry mine on a cookie sheet on a windowsill for a couple of days to keep the nutritional integrity of them intact.

Happy Halloween! Hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult to find a wig for your costume. I want to see pics! I think Richard Simmons is fitting and funny!

Thanks Sweetwth for the info. on drying the seeds. I'll compromise....dry half of them to try and and roast the other half. I might even try smoking some seeds Saturday since I'll be smoking a small pork butt then. Sounds like that would be good, to me anyway.

So did you ever find the wig? And how was the hot Yoga?
