Can I ask you how that is blowing it??If you are within your RDI and you are calorie counting than saltines, cheese and turkey would be well within the limits. I don't see any reason why you cannot eat what you want and enjoy it.

We seem to have a quite a bit in common. I have 3 kids 24 21 and a senior 18 year old daughter. I too am a first time grandma ( much too early :) but loving it) and working toward 135 lbs. Oh and I growl when I have to get up and excercise lol. Hang in there! Keep going!

HAHA.. I had pizza for dinner. [GRIN] 1800 is still not bad. Call it a great day and rest easy. I have found that if I limit my intake too much it just pushes me over the edge... instead I'm trying to learn to eat in moderation. ANd, um, two candy bars yesterday! so... we are all a work in progress. Much love!

Thanks for the friend request. I agree with pixidaisy. I don't think you blew it. It could have been a lot worse.

Hey there, i have been realizing (in my own journey) that blowing it isnt the problem, but how you feel afterword is... if we change the sign in our brain to a yeild instead of a stop, you can still keep the momentum going and not beat yourself up for a small or even large setback ... it makes it easier to get back on the wagon and FORGIVE YOURSELF! because that is what truely is at the root of all our problems! we screw up and then berate outselves for our failures and end up feeling worst and then eat more .... la la la see the pattern! you can do this, show that grandbaby what you are made of, a strong, smart woman who loves herself! (how will they know .. because you treat yourself well!) BTW.. i am also a first time grandma :) but i have been in another state working I left when she was 3 months old and i wont be back until her 1st birthday:( but I am using this time to work on me! so I can be a better grandma!! congrats to you also!

that isn't to bad for blowing it, I usually blow it with something like a big mac! Have you tried laughing cow cheese on your celery? thats pretty good and gives a little different flavor.

That doesn't sound like blowing it at all, It actually sounds like a decent snack just use reduced fat cheese. Trust me the whole losing weight thing is a process, you learn more along the way. Before you know it you'll be 135 and people will be asking you for all the tips. Down 7 pounds already? That's amazing, keep up the awesome work. If you fall off get right back on!
