Weight this morning is 224 lbs, down 3 lbs from yesterday. Ate about 1400 calories yesterday with intermittent fasting and was able to get in an exercise session during the fast. So with that I've lost all the weight I gained on vacation plus lost an additional pound, I'm very happy about that. The plan for today is another 16:8 IF and going to shoot for 1400 calories again. I'll record my weight tomorrow morning.

This weekend will be travelling to Buffalo for my grandson's 2nd birthday party so it will be challenging. I don't want to work so hard again to lose weight, gain it back over a few days, and then have to repeat the cycle of losing the same weight again. Travelling can be tough but with restraint and planning I can keep that from happening this weekend.

May sound too simple but drink plenty of water. I am diabetic and have been to the ER a couple of times for high sugar. A glass of water right as We were leaving the house for the ER significantly washed some of the sugar out by the time I got there. They also gave me saline drip (more water). Ive been to two birthdays this month. Had to drink a lot of water!

PS - have not needed a single sugar med for over two years now. Water! And slow burning carbs.

Compuwise, right on about the water and good carbs. Only problem is I pee it out about as fast as I drink it but that's not a bad thing.

Yep, I do the same thing and my doc has me on a diuretic. I spend a LOT of time back and forth to the restroom.
