mars2kids's Journal, 03 September 2014

So today I have a pounding headache, my ears hurt, and I'm extremely tired. Doesn't that sound like a great time for someone to come in to the office and tell me that my tire is flat? UGH!!!! I can't win today. Deep breaths.... My wonderful hubby is going to come take my car in to get the tire fixed, and price new tires because we've had so many issues with these ones and they're almost bald. As for the head and ear aches, decongestants are on board, but not working, so if I'm feeling crumby tomorrow I'm calling the doc to see if I can either go to the ENT and have them suck out the junk that's in my ears (I know lovely picture) or get a new antibiotic. I'm sick of being in this cycle of feeling good, then bad, then good, then bad, up and down, up and down. Okay now I've ranted and I'm done with it.

Even though I'm not feeling 100% today I'm going to try to get a workout done of some sort after work. I actually have time after work, so I want to take advantage of it. I'm going to try to keep my eating in line too and hopefully with the exercise and eating better I start feeling better.

I hope everyone has a great (and healthy) Wednesday!!

I hope you get some relief soon. THe roller coaster ride has to suck. But one thing I've noticed is that you always keep trying and that's what matters. Hope you feel better soon!

When I have a little headache or I already took a pain reliever for a bigger headache I only ride my bicycle. I don't do calisthenics because that would only make my headache worse. Do something that isn't too strenuous. With the bike or a walk you only move your legs. That's not too hard. I hope you feel better soon :-)

I find exercise actually helps my headaches, but avoid things that involve a lot of up and down. Even if it doesn't help, it usually doesn't make it worse and then you can feel good that you still got the workout in and your headache didn't beat you. Could this be hormone related? When it's my TOM I have a migraine, my ears swell almost halfway closed, I get stuffed up, and sometimes get a sore throat. It lasts for a week and then gone. Just a thought.

Hang in there - sometimes when I do not feel well a good "sweat" actually improves the situation. Feel better...
