Goodmorning soulmate, friends, buddy's and readers,

Wouldn't you sometimes wish you where perfect, if only for a day? You woke up, make your house shine like betty boop even before breakfast, help your kids to school singing a nice tune, then return home looking all crisp and have a little bootycall with hubbie before he's off to work. Then you go to your own job, get promoted, earn insane amounts of money, have a light lunch that makes an anorectic person hungry, work some more, pick up kid, still smiling and shining looking like a model all the time... then dance around the house helping kid with homework or his other problems, have dinner ready for hubbie right at the time he comes home, then you clean the kitchen, so sign of fatique, bring the kid to bed, who ofcaurse today does not complain for once, then have a little snoogy with hubbie, go off to the gym work you butt of, but when you look in the mirror it is actually OFF... still smiling, go home, not a worry in the world, still full of energy, then you write a bestseller, go to bed and fal asleep within 10 minutes...

and then i wake up, house in disarray (ofcaurse yesterday was mothersday so i was not allowed to DO anything) kid cranky cause he stayed up too late, hubbie smelling like a bull. bring kid to school in the rain, work my butt off, still not making more money then last time i worked this hard. lunch, too little but getting hungry so ate a little more. work some more, pick up kid who is even more cranky by now. hang on the couch hoping the kid will find something to do, cook, not be allowed to eat the food you cooked you chew a carrot and getting cranky, go to gym, give it your freaking best but it just aint good enough, go home have a little uninspired snoogy, then write some in your book, and finally go to bed way to late but at least tired enough to sleep some, setting the alarm for early next morning...

Sounds a bit like my day I spent the day doing double work also because I wasn't allowed to do anything either and it turns out if I don't do it no one else does! Plus two children cranky toddlers with sore bellies from being fed crap all day yesterday because I wasn't allowed to cook:-). Great job dragging yourself off to the gym anyway!

Yep... I always want Nancy Myers to come 'set my life' - where I'm always dressed chic, have 2-3 men falling all over themselves to get to me, and am a gourmet chef who speaks french and makes croissants at 2 in the morning. Oh, and a beach house. In the Hamptons. But that's not my only home. No wonder my real life seems so unsatisfying at times.
