Back in the saddle

Have you guys ever walked for miles stretching your physical boundaries? And in the end, wasn't it easier to just put one foot after the other, without thinking, because if you sat down and took a rest for just one second it would be impossible to get up!?

The same feeling i have with dieting... I do the diet thing, day after day after day, but i know that one wrong step, i would sit down, and it would be near impossible for me to get up... So i just keep on walking, one foot in front of the other, one day at a time, struggling to get to that stupid finishline, too tired to remember why i wanted to be there in the first place. But the finishline has become a target on its own, and i don't care anymore why i wanted to be there in the first place...

Now i know lots of you had a real struggle this Easter, and some of you had sat down. I know it is hard to get up and start walking again... it takes unbelievable strength, unimaginable willpower and inhuman resolve. But i want you all to dig deep within yourself and FIND that winner within you, that ONE voice that is telling you to GET UP. to FINISH this!
And you will find that you DO have the resolve beyond humanity, you DO have the willpower to submit any target and you have that Strength within you to hold on to that straw with all your might!!!

So for those who are still walking, keep it going, GET THERE, no matter what!
And for those who have sat down i want you to GET UP. and don't get up tomorrow, just GET UP NOW!!!!

GET UP!!!

Up and running sweets. The method to my "fall off the wagon" madness is this. I plan the days and pick the date I'm going to return to my routine. It has worked for the past 2 years and I'm back on track as of yesterday. Exercising will come in time when the ribs heal and I can do my full workout of walking, kettle bells and strength. I kind of consider myself lucky I can do this. After losing a bunch, there's always the fear of slacking.

Thank goodness you put the 'get up' at the end of your journal or I'd not have read the whole thing.. you scared me. Have to go change now.
