I am 58 years old, husband, father of three, grandfather of four. I have probably lost the equivalent of my body weight over the years (and, of course, gained it all back). I can lose weight, but am horrible at maintenance once I meet my goal weight. I first tried Atkins about 10 years ago; six years ago it was LA Weight Loss. Now I am following Weight Watchers and am losing the weight once more. Trying to join challenges on this site to keep me motivated and going. Wondering if I will have the discipline to maintain this time.

Multivitamins
When I did the Atkins diet some years ago I took vitamins and it did not hamper weight loss. In fact, there are some articles that argue that you need to take multivitamins if you are doing low carb/high protein - if you google vitamins and atkins diet you can see a number of them. Good luck with your diet!

Weight watchers points?
I have been using the site for three months; if it has that function, I have not found it. I keep weight watchers points separately in a spreadsheet. I will say that I am considering abandoning the spreadsheet, because I have found a calorie/day level by using this site that, if I do not exceed it, will fall within my weight watchers points limit.
