My membership at FS is awesome! When I joined last November, I was at the point that when I opened the refrigerator I wanted to eat one of everything in there! lol Now I tell myself that I have to eat right and I can have a Tablespoon of something if I want, but I have to write it in my food log. I don't want my buddies to see me eating junk, so I just don't eat it! BTW, did anybody notice that the word cheating has the word eating in it? ;)

I've noticed funny things like that too! Cheating...eating. Studying...dying. Hah! The tablespoon idea is great...thank you for that idea. Great control you have developed. I applaud you!

Deb, you are absolutely right. Tracking the food intake really makes you accountable.

Deb, you are the greatest, just remember a tablespoon is not the same as a table spoon (one which you put in bowls to serve the food with) hehehehehehe. Have a great Tuesday and congrats on breaking the 178.

Cheating, and eating, that will def stick in my brain now. thanks for that tip.. haha, The tablespoon idea made me think of my peanut butter. If you love peanut butter and want it occasionally, I have found Just Great Stuff powered organic peanut butter. You mix 2 tablespoons of powered peanut butter with 1 tablespoon of water and it is yummy. It has 45 calories versus 90 for creamy peanut butter and has 90% less fat. I love it on a sandwich, celery, rice cakes or as a dip for my apple.

I like that one, the word studying includes the word dying. lol

CCerza, I use PB2 peanut powder which is 85% less fat. I stir 1 Tablespoon into my prepared oatmeal to boost my protein.

TOO DARN FUNNY! Cheating and eating! (LOL) We've never met, but somehow our FS Buddies are POWERFUL motivators! I think twice too before eating certain things or taking an extra bite of chocolate or using an extra TBSP of olive oil.

Oooo, I think I may add a little coconut oil to my oatmeal tomorrow! Hadn't thought about that...just been skipping the butter or margarine and adding 1 oz walnuts and 1/4c raisins

I love the cheating and eating! I refuse to cheat, maybe when I reach goal, but I don't want to sidetrack myself.

wow, you are doing GREAT, Since November you have been loosing pound after pound, fighting against Christmas party, and other holidays that invite us to eat a lot, and the weekends and birthdays that are part of the life. Thank you for share with us your success because you are an inspiration to me. Your effort is evident, I know is not easy to eat an apple when you have a brownie in front of you, but the scale don´t miss a thing. CONGRATULATIONS. Keep going.

LOLOL! So true about CH-eating. I'm so glad that I've found this amazing place with solutions to our issues, too. I first came on FS just looking for a tool to record calories, etc. (I used to use a little notebook and a calorie book -- and figured there must be something easier online). It wasn't till three years later that I discovered the true GEM that all the folks on FS are. They are the real treasure here. The support, ideas, learning they share, and just plain being there when we need them is the real treasure. Folks like you are the real platinum lining behind this thing. TAKE CARE, Deb and keep on ROCKING your weight loss. WTG!

Deb_N, I just noticed that the first part of CH eating is CH. I wonder it that could be cheese eating. Hmmm. Maybe I'll lay off the cheese eating for a while and see if I can break out of the 21's... Have a great day
