I hate how Fitbit automatically synchronises weight, because for some odd reason it's always .2 lbs lighter than I actually am... Oh well, on to the race results!!
So... for my first EVER 5K... I placed 34th out of 145 people! I wasn't last!! :D
It sounds much more impressive when I say I earned 2nd place in the 25 to 29 female age division. Which I totally did AND I have the medal to prove it!!
I am so proud of myself! I didn't think I could do it, but I did! My race time was 26:57.37 and my pace was 8:42.
:D

That is AWESOME!! I think I would have placed about 125/145, lol. There are always those stragglers that had to walk for more of the race than they ran. That would be me. I foresee many more 5K and longer races in your future. Congratulations again!
