aggie95's Journal, 05 February 2014

Today is my son's 4th birthday! And it's a snow storm here, so we're at home. I'm trying to work from home and pay attention to my little guy too. DH is sleeping as he was on night shift. My mind is very distracted... I want carbs. Cheezies, cake, crackers. Sigh! And no run at lunchtime. Maybe I can go on the treadmill later...

Happy Birthday to your little one! If you work from home, have you looked into getting a treadmill desk? I think it would be too much coordination for me, ha! Don't give into the cravings! I can tell you from experience, it's not worth it!

Happy Birthday to your son! What a happy day for him - and he gets to stay home - yippee! A treadmill session sounds like a great plan - have a good workout and a great day!

It is a snowstorm here as well but I made it to work! My kids never understand why mom can't have a snow day as well :) I understand the urge to eat all the 'have not's'. With it being your son's birthday maybe you splurge a bit with him and then be sure you get your exercise in.

Hi Aggie, More snow --Ugggghhhh, make sure it doesn't come my way ;) Storm days are challenging for eating the right stuff, they just seem to beg me to eat carbs, but I know you are going to get through no problemo. Happy Birthday to your "little guy" did you have your party yet?
