Okay, actually started Atkins on the 26th. As of today I'm down 1.5 lb. OMG! Is that right? I'm shocked.
184.5 lb Lost so far: 1.5 lb.    Still to go: 59.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 10.5 lb a week

Atkins is the best. I would guess you're going to see more success very soon. Most times it seems that it takes about two weeks to get through the induction phase before the weight really starts to drop but all loss is good. If you need any advice or have any to give, we're all here and we're always here.

Best bet - do an official weigh-in on a specific morning of the week like Friday or Sunday. When you get up that will be your lowest weight of the day. That will make up for the water fluctuations during the day. Most of us who have been on here a long while know this. Women may gain at certain monthly times. But YES this is the only diet that worked for me I'm sixty pounds down from my highest weight from years ago; make this a permanent lifestyle choice and you'll be thin for good. I'm thin now! glenn :)

It is right! Keep it up. The rate of loss doesn't continue this way, but the first couple of weeks give you a good head start. If you stick to it, you will reach your goal in no time. Good luck!
