Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
Make it the best ever!

Down in weight to another decade ~ 150's!!!
Took a long time, but slow & steady wins the race!!
Realized my body needs those fruits & veghies I haven't been good about including as I should.

Made crustless Pumpkin Pie with Splenda & it's AWESOME!! I even have been putting a sliver of it into my YES Vanilla Protein Shakes! So yummy & hits the spot!!

I'm a little concernef about tomorrow, as I'm sure many of you are. What are your strategies to avoid overeating or snacking all day??
I'm going to take extra protein shakes along to enjoy. 30 minutes before our main meal & supper to help curb my appetite.
And load up on Alkalete before going to bed tomorrow to help attack the extra fatty foods.
Make it a Fabulous Thanksgiving wherever you are!!

I'm eating unlimited turkey breast. It is lean and full of protein.

Congrats on your success! I'm going to make a giant tray of roasted butternut squash and brussel sprouts to graze on before dinner, then eat lots of turkey w/ a small side of the other dishes. Plan to drink lots of water as well :) I like your idea of adding pumpkin to a protein shake! I make pumpkin spice cookies (spice cake mix + pumpkin puree) instead of pie... Have a wonderful thanksgiving!

congrats on getting into the '50's!! I'm calling for an off day for myself for tomorrow. I'll be mentally preparing for all the goodies, and will enjoy the turkey, with small portions of the sides. Maybe even a spoonful of dressing. I know how to graze now, and really haven't eaten until i'm stuffed since June!! I don't plan on doing it now, or ever again! I hated that bloated feeling!!! I'll have a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, drink water as much as I can!! Maybe a soda. I just plan on enjoying the day with everyone, instead of enjoying the day with food!!! Have a great Thanksgiving!!

You've made a tremendous accomplishment hitting the 50's. Congrats. Enjoy your day. Moderation is the key. A tablespoon serving of this and that. Most of us have declared tomorrow our day off. Me, today and tomorrow. Others, tomorrow and Friday. You deserve a break.

Awesome!! I am concerned about tomorrow also, but since I am making most of the meal I know what I am putting into it. Also I think I am going to really try portion control, not go back on seconds and hopefully get out for a walk. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm making my traditional broccoli casserole, but this year I'm using fat free cheddar cheese, low fat cream of chicken soup, & whole wheat stuffing. Also making mashed sweet potatoes with omega 3 plus butter, and only 1 cup of marshmallows stirred in (less sugar). As for how not to overeat, drinking lots of water before time to eat. Happy Thanksgiving everyone & eat healthy! :)
