Day 13 into my first go at "no shave November" to bring awareness to men's health... Any man out there over say 40, should consider getting your PSA checked. It CAN and just MIGHT save your life...
This is the first time in my adult life that i will not have shaved after more than 2 weeks... I do not have a lot of facial hair, but am surprised at how much I have after only 2 weeks... Good grief! LOL I surely won't look like ZZ Top at the end of November, but what is there will be as white as Santa's...
Tis the season... HO... HO... HO... LOL

I think that is a great thing to do. it is especially effetive for fellows who are normally clean shaven. It helps start a conversation which is often all that is needed to save a person's life. Good for you Santa.

My dad got diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 years ago at age 70. Luckily they caught it very early and treatment was 100% successful. We have a whole slew of cancers in our family tree (bad gene pool!), and I have my PSA done twice a year. Actually, my doctor is having mine done again next month- he says my readings from last Fall to this Spring and then to last month's checkup were moving in a direction that he wants to keep tabs on. Here's to no shaving! :)
