Day 2, Week 3 Holiday Cruise to Lose! (Wow, week 3 already!)

Good Morning morning all you lovely, wonderful, BEAUTIFUL, health minded Fat Secret Peoples!

So I had an appointment noshow on me yesterday. I don't normally let that get to me, BUT I had 4 up for the week-end. One rescheduled for January one canceled outright and the no show yesterday (which WAS confirmed). The last appointment is for 1PM but I have been unable to confirm it all week so I have no idea if it will happen. Normally I am upbeat but man this is disappointing. It showed up in my habits yesterday too. I am darn lucky Power Yoga was int he AM Because after my no show I played my computer game all day and did not get anything done. I ran to Chili's for comfort food. I got my salad but I ate the whole darn thing. (which is worse than a lot of meals you can get) I went to be early (at like 9)

So now I wound up getting up at like 5AM on a Sunday LOL. I have been up doing laundry and getting some gift bags together for an Adopt-a-Grandparent community service project, checking journals and then getting letter outs and cleaning up my facial kit. So I guess it is not ALL bad. At least I am motivated today and I am well aware my appointment might not hold so I have other things planned to make this a productive day! I also want to get the Christmas decorations up (been doing a little at a time but I need the tree up today, LOL). I should start Christmas cards today to! I have PLENTY to do, Definitely don't want to waste the whole day away, again ;)

Old Man Scale: Almost afraid to go see....all that salt at Chili's yesterday! :)

your body knows when it needs that day off...you just gotta listen when its talkin to you..a lazy day...i use to feel guilty when i didnt make my workout days, but i learned that my body knows when it needs a break...and i and you just have to listen and take it all in stride...giving that body time off, will also shock it and make it wonder what the heck is going on...lol..

That stinks about your appointments, especially the no-show! That's just rude. It's great that you got the Yoga in first thing. I hope today goes better. Have fun with your tree and cards!

Disappointing days happen to us all. It's when they turn into disappointing weeks and months that you have to start worrying! But you sound back on track with a game plan today so put yesterday behind you and move forward. We are decorating our tree today, too and, like you, I need to tackle my cards as well. Enjoy your day. I'm sure you'll get lots accomplished!

Is the no-show with the business that you run? That lack of responsibility on another's part must be frustrating. I ate comfort food today too. I'll tell ya about it later. It is so so so so tough to stay with "the program" -- no matter what the program is -- for a long period of time. A month or two or three -- or seven -- is easy. But forever must be a deeply engrained habit and overall way of life. Eating the way we "used to" feels yucky. Let's feel better! Want to? Okay! Let's do! Tomorrow is a brand new day. WE CAN DO IT! LOVE YA!

Thanks Cobra, and yes. I had four appointments up this week-end and NONE held. But that is the way it works. Hopefully that means I will have 4 in a row hold now as it is typical for half 1/3 to 1/2 to hold.

It is hard when you're trying to run a buisiness and people are rude like that when you set aside time for them. Just try not to let it get to you. I did Pampered Chef for a while and it amazed me how little people were willing to do for all the free stuff they could get if they just followed through on some basic instructions! At least you know the odds of no-shows. It might be less as people get busy with the holidays. I hope it works out for you.

Great job getting your exercise in early in the day, then you know that nothing will interfer with it. I hate it when appointments don't show up. Good you had things to keep you busy . Darn, you just reminded me about sending out Christmas cards!! Darn!!! That's okay...not your fault ! I think we should only send cards out to people that we talk to by phone or in person at least twice a year, don't you??

I hosted a Fay Swaford purse party once in January. It was "the dead of winter." A blinding blizzard blew into town. No one showed up. Not one single person. I felt so bad for the purse lady! I bought two purses. Does anybody remember Fay Swafford purses? Anyway! Good luck with no more no-shows! Keep the faith!

That I would totally understand, Cobra LOL! How nice of you, you are the kind of person it feels good to do business with (even if you only picked up one LOL.) Weather is another thing entirely. I expect people to be safe :D
