Now that's a picture! A duck in a stetson! "Quack, pardner"! So glad you're enjoying your new hat. Boys and their toys. <sigh> just so darned cute. Stay strong, and away from those villainous cakes!

"Boys and their toys"... At least your toy is a Stetson.... My hubby has 4 'toys' in our driveway... a suburban, a dodge ram, a ford f350 and a mazda 6... Enjoy your toy to it's fullest!!

Oh, and you're right.... the cravings for cakes are definitely just a phase.. I'm going through the same thing. Try giving in, but only for a small amount. Monitor yourself, and savor every bite of what you do give in to!

I will have to figure out how to pop pics in a journal.... I'm just not as clever as Liberty and 08 and Granm and others that I see doing it!! Mind you - when ya have the looks of Shrek on steroids...tis probably a good thing... a dodge ram eh!!! would love a spin in that (whilst eating a cream coffee slice)... which of course will NOT happen until I loose another 13 lbs or win the lotto (which ever comes first!)...

"Rollin' Rollin' Rollin',
Keep movin', movin', movin',
Though they're disapprovin',
Keep them doggies movin' Rawhide!"
Yeeehaaaaw! Love the old west daydream. I'll be joining you in the duck pond soon as we have had nothing but rain and more rain forecast as far as they dare attempt to predict. Keep your lasso tight around those carbs!

Great picture! You're right about the cravings, it's just a phase. Stay strong! Or else plan a treat day and move on. You better be ready for that 20g net carb Challenge September 2nd, and leave your cravings behind!

Love the pic with your boys! As I was reading your Bonanza story I was picturing it in my head. You have quite the imagination, Davy! I know what you mean about the 20 grams a day getting old. I agree with the above that you should have a treat day. Even if you just go to 50 - 100 carbs it would still be lower than the norm, and it would probably do you good! I usually give myself a higher carb day once a week, usually on the weekend. It would probably shake up your metabolism a bit too! Later, Pardner **tipping my cowgirl hat to ya** :)
