Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.

My mom's fall was Monday night and she's been in ICU until yesterday. She was moved to a room in the Neuro Spine Center. It was determined that she bruised her spinal cord. When doing all the tests the doctor discovered that her C1 & C2 vertebra spinal cord opening it too small so he is recommending she get surgery to make that larger ASAP. He said if an accident like that happens again and she doesn't get the surgery then it almost 100% likely she'd be paralyzed. Right now we're just waiting for the swelling and bruising to go down so then they can do the surgery. It may be a week or so and she should get to come home and rest before then.

I'm glad I came even though it's not as bad as I originally thought it's nice to be here.

Not too much going on, just at the hospital and cleaning the house so she doesn't come back to a mess!

I thought I'd gained weight, but weighed on my scale the other day and my dad's today and I'm really about the same - amazing! I'm sure I would have lost some if I hadn't been eating fries, onion rings and burgers the past 2 weeks. Oh well! I'm on track and doing well here at my parents since my dad does WW too. Haven't exercised yet, but maybe I'll get around to it.
