WOW...have to change this bio!!! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Heather, I am 32 years old and I live in Colorado. I used to hate the way I looked, now I am pretty pleased with how far I have come. Since starting this on January 15th, I have lost almost 20 lbs and have kept it off. I am very pleased with my new liftstyle change and am very greatful to my friend for getting me started on this. With the will power and determination I know I can accomplish my goal. By reading my original bio you can see how far I have come and let me tell you, it is so worth it!!!
Original Bio.....
My name is Heather. I am 32 years old and hate the way I look. I have been trying to loose weight for many years.....working out, watching what I eat and taking more then I can count diet pills, nothing has worked. Not only do I work out for an hour a day I am also very active in sports, but that doesn't seem to help either. I have lost, put back on and lost....very frustrating. I was given this book by a friend and I am very excited to see what happens. My only fear is that I will loose and then put it right back on. I am not a heavy eater, just like to eat a lot of the wrong foods. If you have any suggestions that would help it would be greatly apprecaited. I tried to get my husband to join me with this, but he isn't really that excited about it, so I am trying this on my own. He is very supportive about it, but just not interested yet....

Trouble with Detox Phase
I have done the detox several times and it is difficult, but if you get in the right state of mind you will do just great! I truly believe that this diet is a lot of mind set, if you can get that together 100% you will be great! I will also suggest that you mix things up, I know there is not a lot to choose from for Detox, but make it work for you. With the freedom to eat just about any fruit and veggies to do, don't limit yourself to only a select few. Hope this helps some, sorry can't be more!

Extreme Fat Smash
I have actually done both the Fat Smash and Extreme Fat Smash...they are similar. In the Fat Smash you have phases Detox to Phase 4, it is a 90 day program and tells you what you can and can't eat in each Phase. The Extreme does not have a detox phase, or any phase for that matter, they are considered cycles and I think it is only a 4 week program, can't remember for sure. But it spells out what you should eat in a day instead of telling you what you can't eat. Also has more to choose from eating wise, and if you are anything like me and have to have a snack, you can do that with the Extreme, but not the Fat Smash. The extreme requires more exercising also. I lost more with the Fat Smash, but they are both great, just really depends on how much you need to lose. Good luck! Either way you go you have chosen the right way! Hope this helps!

Beginner
You best bet is to pick up the book, it really does help to have that to follow. You can get it from your local book store or go to amazon.com. The only other thing I can tell you is that you have to know what you can and can't eat. I lent my book to a friend, but I remember that you can have brown rice, any fruit and veggies you would like, fresh is best. Egg whites, certain beans, yogurt, tofu...just to name a few things. I know there is portion sizes, but at this time I can't remember for sure what they are, that is why you will be much better off picking up a copy of the book, even if you just check it out from the library. Hope this helps some~ Oh yah, drink nothing but water for the first 9 days, that is the detox phase! Good luck!
