I just read something in my Buddy BuffyB's journal about plan and patience and realized this is the origin of success for me.

From the start, I knew patience, acceptance and tolerance would be required to lose the weight. I call patience, acceptance and tolerance PAT.

So, I had to learn to PAT myself daily in order to stay on track, to PAT myself to stay motivated, to PAT myself to stick to my plan, and to PAT myself to have an open mind and heart to all the changes life was bringing in for me.

Remember to PAT youself at least once per day!

AND, remember this blouse? I just bought it in a SIZE 10 - it fits now but will fit perfectly in December. My tops are smaller than my bottoms which are still 14-16 - but I am getting there!


Still grateful for:

- The people I love who love me back!
- The good health of my loved ones
- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue
- "Butt-kicking" myself to a smaller size today
- My DH - who is my greatest "cheerleader"
- My Bengal cat companions named Bodhi and Ravi
- My work - which has meaning and worth to other human beings
- My connection to the Mother Earth and its entire splendor
- My physical health

I love the PAT so much more than the butt-kick. Be nice to you. Nurture and take care of you. Love you enough that you will keep you healthy and strong. PAT is my new friend. Butt kicking is the antithesis of PAT.

@DJBurney - yes, but everyone knows I "butt-kick" myself which is a reference to Jillian Michaels execise DVDs that I use and adore! So "butt-kick" is a good thing for me!

Your new blouse is beautiful and when you are wearing it at Christmas, I think you should update your profile pic in your new pretty blouse. :)
