Johanne's Journal, 04 October 2012

Wahoo!

The magic is working again. I know how to use it. I just don't always do it. Thank goodness for fatsecret. Without it, I would have regained all the weight I lost. Even when I'm not eating the way I should, the food journal and my buddies keep me aware.

I'm thankful for:

Waking up.
My buddies.
My children.
My home.
My luxuries. (My oldest son gave me his old black and white Kindle!)
The beautiful, beautiful fall weather!

I have all of my books on my iPad (also from my son) but it's heavy and backlit. I had no idea how great the kindle would be. It's so much easier on the eyes and wrists? And thanks. I'm pretty thrilled with the loss. At this rate, I hope to be back to my lowest weight by Christmas. Love YOU back!!!

@ Sazy, you're a darling! @ Cindy, the kindle screen is so much better for prolonged reading. I LOVE it!

I was thinking if I got a kindle I could make the font bigger and hold off getting those reading glasses for a while.

FOL, you can set the font, quite easily, to any size you like. It means you can have a huge library in the palm of your hand. The really cool part is, there are SO MANY free books. If you get one, ask me how. Hugs!!!
